Travel | Claremont Hotels Room and Bard Special for Midsummer Shakespeare Festival

Claremont Hotels seem to be as excited as we are about the Midsummer Shakespeare Festival. They’ve recently announced special Room and Bard packages that will include festival tickets along with gourmet treats during the exciting performance.

claremont hotels room and bard promotionThe fifth annual Midsummer Shakespeare Festival, presented by Ophelia’s Jump Productions, will run from July 12th through July 22nd on Thursday through Sunday evenings. The Festival will take place at the Sontag Greek Theatre at Pomona College. The shows scheduled to be performed in the repertory will be Romeo and Juliet performed in both English and American Sign Language (on July 13, 15, 19 and 20th) and As You Like It (on July 12, 14, 20 and 22nd )

romeo and juliet an asl love storyThe special Discover Claremont Hotels Room and Bard package will include a guest room, two tickets to one performance, padded seats to borrow for your performance, a packed insulated tote filled with a selection of gourmet treats and a split of wine. If you’re planning on staying at the DoubleTree, you’ll be treated to a picnic specially prepared by the hotel’s chef. For all other properties Packing House Wines will provide wine and picnic options for the guests of all other properties.

Reservations are required and need to be made to the participating property, making sure to mention the Room and Bard package. Participating hotels include:

Claremont, located just 30 miles east of Los Angeles, is one of America’s top college towns. If you are looking for additional ways to spend your time in the area the following attractions are quite popular with both locals and visitors.

  • Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden
  • Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater
  • Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology
  • Claremont Packing House food and entertainment center
