Events | Introducing the 2017 Chili Bourbon Festival
We love a great festival here at PhoenixBites which means we couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming Chili Bourbon Festival happening December 15th and 16th at Margaret T. Hance Park. First-year festivals are always tricky beasts but I’m here to tell you why you need to get this event on your calendar! It all comes down to great music, bourbon and chili. Let’s break it down!
The Music at the Chili Bourbon Festival
Guests of the two-day event will be entertained by a variety of national and local artists. Colt Ford has recently released his sixth album, Love Hope Faith, and will be spreading his positive message of friendship, family connections and faith at the festival. Waterloo Revival will be visiting from Nashville and sharing the fruits of their intense writing sessions with festival fans.
Local country music fans will enjoy performances by Desert Dixie Trio, Rich Adams Band, Band Wagon, Nathan Dean and the Damn Band along with Joel Maze and Southern Country.

The Chili at the Chili Bourbon Festival
Guests will also be able to sample several varieties of chili, from traditional to creative, but all delicious and perfect for the anticipated chill that will be in the air the weekend of the festival. Some options that will be available for tasting are traditional cornbread chili, bitchin hot steakhouse chili, southwestern chicken chili, vegan magic chili, cilantro
green pork chili and mac daddy chili mac.
Extras
In addition to the sips, tastes and outstanding music there will also be independent entertainment like cornhole, giant Jenga, Kong Pong, ladder golf and more!
Let’s Talk Chili Bourbon Festival Tickets
There are a few options for tickets, based on what you’re looking to get into at the festival. Let’s break it down by day:
Friday
General admission for Friday is $10 in advance or $15 the day of.
Military and Senior tickets are available for $8, but only in advance and with appropriate id.
You can get a Festival & Master Sampler Card (only available for those 21 and over) for $15 in advance or $25 the day of the event. This level of ticket will get you general admission as well as 6 chili samples and bourbon samples of your choice.
If you’re feeling fancy, go for the VIP Private Reserve ticket. This will get you premium drinks, free food and soft drinks, premium seating areas, a master sampler card and access to private restroom suites. These tickets are only available in advance and will cost you $50.
Saturday
General admission for Friday is $15 in advance or $20 the day of.

Kids 12 and under are complimentary on both days when accompanied by an adult.
