The Annoucement of Overstreet Has Us Loving Chandler Even More
I’ve lived in Chandler for about 8 years and during that time I’ve put in a lot of time traveling to Phoenix and Scottsdale for events and dinners. In recent years there have been more restaurants moving to downtown Chandler and Gilbert. A few of my restaurants are within a quick five-minute drive. Spots like The Perch, Vintage 95, El Palacio, Nico and Cuisine & Wine Bistro, just to name a few. With the recent announcement of Overstreet I will likely be adding more to that list.
I have a feeling that at the end of this year the tables will turn and those who reside in Phoenix and Scottsdale will be flocking to Chandler for all the promise that Overstreet holds. The 77,000 square foot retail, dining and entertainment space is being designed by LGE Design Build and will take over the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard, about a 30 minute walk from my house.
What Types of Businesses Will You Find at Overstreet?
You’ll find an array of business, from big name eateries, fitness centers, business start-ups and the one people are talking the most about right now, Flix Brewhouse.
“With a signed agreement in place, we’re now ready to move forward with LGE Design Build to make this downtown project a reality,” said Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny. “This busy intersection is critical to enhancing our existing vibrant downtown. We’ve had plenty of new additions to the downtown this past year, and now we’re thrilled to get another first for our state, Flix Brewhouse, as the anchor for this highly desired entertainment project.”
The space will cater to a range of demographics and is located in an already bustling area. The super sleek and modern space will bring exciting curb appeal and a breath of fresh air to the area. You’ll be drawn in by the lush landscaping, artistic signage and the large-scale bridge over the space’s entryway.
