Posted on: December 15th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Today Market Street Kitchen is rolling out their brand new winter cocktail menu which will feature 20 handcrafted cocktails. All the new cocktail are executed with unique components and contemporary recipes, including a premium Rye Whiskey from Vermont. The menu will feature a cocktail to meet everyone’s taste; from casual sippers to the more adventurous craft cocktail aficionados. It’s easy to see why Market Street Kitchen was finalist for the 2016 Foodist Award for its Premium Cocktail Program.

The new cocktail menu was created by MSK’s Beverage Director, Garrit Guthrie, to showcase exciting new spirits and variations on classic cocktails such as the Chai-Tai, a chai tea-spiked version of a Mai Tai made with both Plantation’s Old Fashioned Traditional Dark Overproof Rum (a 138-proof blend of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados), and Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum (a modern interpretation of this centuries old distilling technique where both fresh pineapple and its aromatic rind are added to the rum to give it a slight sweetness). That’s a serious drink!
If you’re looking to go hog wild, try The Pig Old Fashioned, prepared with your selection of Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey (10, 12 or 15-year), plus Whistle Pig’s barrel aged maple syrup. Handcrafted in Vermont, Whistle Pig is the first US distillery that’s growing its own rye grass and even oak trees for the casks, and MSK guests can upgrade to the super-rare 15 year whiskey for $35 per cocktail. Plus, enjoy your choice of MSK Mules (Moscow, Kentucky, Jalisco and Oaxaca) and a daily-changing Daiquiri on the Whim for $10.

These are just an introductory taste of all the delicious food and drink specials that will be offered this winter at Market Street Kitchen, including serving up Happiest Hour seven days a week, from 3pm until 6pm. You’re invites to savor chef-crafted bar bites starting at only $5, or wet your whistle with $4 local draft beers, $5 wines by the glass and $5 well spirits, $7 well martinis, $5 bubbles and $7 classic cocktails.
