Neanderthals Rejoice! Caveman Burger is Now Open!

Posted on: October 5th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Is North Phoenix taking a step back in evolution? Not likely, but if it’s true, it’s in the most appetizing way. Fountain Square at Bell Road and 7th Street is welcoming Caveman Burger to the area, and we’re here to prep you for a “burger for the ages.”

Neanderthals Rejoice! Caveman Burger is Now Open! What exactly is Caveman Burger?

This back-to-basics restaurant is operating on the premise that civilization got something right from the beginning of man. You’ll encounter simple food, free of hormones, antibiotics or fillers. Their menu offerings are made distinctive and enticing by gathering fresh produce, bold spices, and locally baked bread.

“We’re all about the customer and how they want to eat,” said Jeff Bobby, owner of Caveman Burger. “They can eat clean with a simple salad, or they can special order a cheeseburger with an egg on top. We can customize their food—there’s something for everyone.”

In addition to the creative burgers, diners will be able to have access to a varied selection of craft beer and wine within the 1,900 square foot interior. They also have a 700 square foot patio that will accommodate about 80 guests.

What can you expect from the menu at Caveman Burger?

  • You are able to pick between natural Angus beef, Arizona grass-fed beef, wild caught salmon filet or cage free turkey for your protein.
  • You can wrap up your tasty burger in a fresh baked bun, lettuce wrap, pretzel bun or have it perched atop a salad.
  • Toppings are out of control here. Create your own beautiful burger with the usual suspects like mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, sliced onions and barbecue sauce. But there are also fun toppings like sriracha and a fried duck egg among others.
  • Your sides get a touch of fancy, too! You can get regular, sweet potato fries or beer battered onion rings topped with herbs and cheese, garlic and cheese, cilantro and lime (that’s going to be my go-to), sea salt and malt vinegar or their special DMB seasoning.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get all Neanderthal in North Phoenix!
