Pedal Haus Brewery Expansion Causes Temp Closure
Soon, you’ll see a closed sign on one of the hottest Mill brewpubs, but no need to panic. Pedal Haus Brewery will be expanding its brewing capacity and unveiling a fresh new look this fall. In order to make those changes, the brewpub will be closing from June 27th through September 26th.
“We are happy to be contributing to the growth of the local craft beer scene and want to continue to cultivate the community with more tasty beer options that will be increasingly available in other establishments,” said the owner and founder of Pedal Haus Brewery, Julian Wright. “With the revitalized look, feel, and menu, we will be able to serve a broader clientele and expand our brand throughout the Valley.”
Brewery Expansion
What can you anticipate upon the re-opening? The brewery will grow from a 417-gallon weekly production to 1,667 gallons! This increase will allow for expanded Valley-wide commercial growth of the brewpubs favored craft beer selections. The brewery will relocate large fermentation tanks to a centralized area in the dining room. This will allow for guests to have a window into the brewing process along with accessibility of newly offered brewery tours.
Updated Style
Kimberly Harris, of Studio K, is going to give the restaurant space a bit of a makeover. She will bring a darker, pub-like environment fit more with the late-night social scene on Mill Avenue. The revamped kitchen will offer a refreshed menu by day and a selective bar menu by night. The kitchen will receive a brick oven that will accommodate a variety of flatbreads. The best part of that is that the flatbreads will be made with the brewery’s repurposed spent grain.
Patio and Beer Garden Expansion
The patio area will gain an amplified 6,000 square foot Euro-inspired beer garden. The tradiUdPtional yard games that you already love will remain. Retractable large metal garage doors will open up to the outdoor seating area. This will create an open-air feel, full-functioning bar, yard games such as ping pong, cornhole, and ladder ball. Five communal bungalows with firepits will be available for rental for parties of 10 to 20 people.
Pedal Haus Brewery will continue to serve as a sought-after location for corporate events and large parties of any size with an enhanced space and overall experience.
