Phoenix Film Festival Kicks Off March 26th, 2015
The 15th Annual Phoenix Film Festival’s Opening Night Party Will Focus on the Tastes of the Valley.
For the last 14 years, the Phoenix Film Festival has been sharing innovative and ground breaking film features with locals, and this year will be no different. The Festival will run from March 26th through April 2nd and after looking at the schedule, I think I may have taken the best week off of work. The variety of films being featured range from animated shorts to horror, from documentaries to science fiction and everything in between. You can find the complete schedule here.
To start the Festival off in the most fitting manner, in celebration of another form of creative talent in our city, the Kickoff Party will feature offerings from some of the best restaurants in town along with great entertainment and silent auction items.
Taking place at the Party Pavillion, you’ll be able to sample bite size versions of the participating restaurants signature dishes. Your entry to the Opening Night Event will garner you samples from restaurants like Bamboo Club, Asado Mexican Kitchen, Bourbon Jack’s, Brat Haus, Nothing Bundt Cakes, The Greene House, Beckett’s Table, The Hub Bar and Grill, America’s Taco Shop, The Dhaba, Capital Grille, The Melting Pot, California Pizza Kitchen and Maggiano’s Little Italy.
For only $60 you can get your entrance into this exciting event, and the best part is that all of the proceeds go to the Phoenix Film Foundation’s education programs.
Directly following the Opening you will gain access to the Arizona premiere of Danny Collins, featuring Al Pacino, Annette Benning, Christopher Plummer, Jennifer Garner and Bobby Cannavale directed by Dan Fogelman at the Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre.
The Kick Off event will begin at 6pm with the film premiere beginning at 7:30pm. Make sure to get your tickets before they are all gone.
