Welcome to the Chef’s Table

Posted on: March 9th, 2015 by Taryn Jeffries 5 Comments

If you are a lover of food and the art that goes into a great meal out, you’ve likely been presented a dish at a restaurant and snapped a photo or two to share on social media or just to reflect on the moment later. The craft and care that goes into each and every plate at your favorite restaurant is even more impressive when you think that these meals are crafted to hit all of our senses. To be able to enjoy a meal as an experience, it needs to hit on a number of levels. First the plate arrives before you and you are intoxicated with the fresh, rich smells of the meal. Next up you feast your eyes on the beauty and presentation of the dish just before raising your cutlery and enjoy the taste and mouth feel which culminates in an overall extraordinary sensory experience. The Chefs behind these dishes are masters of their craft and artists to be sure.

Chef's TableSome questions I had, while taking a photo of a gorgeous dinner while at one of my favorite restaurants were with all of this beauty and precise care on each and every dish coming out of their kitchens each night, what does dinner at a Chef’s home look like? Do they cook on their off days? Do they lean towards the quick and easy, comforting dishes or are their meals at home on par with their upscale restaurant offerings?

That’s where Chef’s Table comes in; each Tuesday you can count on photos from any one of your favorite chefs and what they are making at home for their families. Be sure to tune in and see what’s on the Chef’s Table.

Make sure to let us know if you have a specific Chef that you would like to see featured.

It all starts tomorrow!
