In Arizona guacamole is pretty much a staple in any household and everyone has their own special preparation or ingredient. If you’re wanting to get your guac on without busting out your molcajete, here are 2 hot spots that can help you satisfy your craving, just in time for National Guacamole Day!National Guacamole Day

SOL Mexican Cocina

15323 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale

Located at the Scottsdale Quarter, SOL Mexican Cocina is a great place to celebrate National Guacamole Day. SOL offers a menu full of fresh, seasonal ingredients and authentic Mexican flavors, but their home-made guacamoles are like no other. SOL offers a variety of guacamoles that will make your mouth water. For the traditionalist from their simple but tasty Naked Guacamole and their Guacamole SOL, which features mangos and tequila, to their seasonal Guacamole Verano, a blend with raspberries and sliced almonds. The best part is that the ingredients are brought to  your table in neat rows on top of the smashed avocado. Guests get to stir the ingredients together before enjoying with tostadas and an ice-cold margarita!

Red Embers Bar & Grill

13525 N. Litchfield Rd., Surprise

Located inside Uptown Alley, Red Embers Bar & Grill is a great place to enjoy National Guacamole Day this year. Sink your teeth into some Haas avocados with tomatillos, onions, jalapenos and cilantro. The dish comes with a side of corn tortilla chips or crisp pita chips. The 60,000 square foot venue features 40 lanes of bowling, over 80 video and prize games, and a two-story laser tag attraction.
