Nominate your favorites for the 2012 Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame

Scottsdale League for the Arts, the organization behind the 34th Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival, is accepting nominations for 2012 Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame, so now is the time to talk up your favorite local chef! Past winners include Chrysa Roberts, Aaron May, Matt Carter and Beau MacMillan. Winning chefs and restaurants will be inducted into the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame at the Scottsdale Culinary Festival’s annual, invitation-only event at Le Cordon Bleu on Tuesday, April 17th.

Send in your Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame nominations for the following categories

  • Chef Extraordinaire: Outstanding chef who continues to distinguish his or her self with innovative, quality cuisine. Qualifications: Must currently operate in a venue located in Arizona. Must have been a chef for at least 5 years.
  • Pastry Chef Extraordinaire: Outstanding pastry chef who continues to distinguish his or her self with innovative, quality pastries. Qualifications:  Must currently operate in a venue located in Arizona. Must have been a pastry chef for at least 5 years.
  • Exceptional Establishment: An acclaimed restaurant or restaurant group that has sustained a following, created a unique ambiance, and put Arizona on the culinary map. Qualifications: Must have at least one establishment in Arizona.

How to Vote: Submit your nominations to vote@scottsdaleculinaryfestival.org by February 15th, 2012. Submissions should include (1) nominating category, (2) first and last name of chef, (3) name of restaurant.
