InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa Begins “Sunset Cinema” Series on March 27th
On March 27th, the Intercontinental Monelucia Resort & Spa will begin its “Sunset Cinema” series, a monthly movie series taking place one Sunday each month featuring classic films.
The outdoor “Sunset Cinema” series will feature films set in Europe and Morocco – two destinations that have inspired the resort’s unique design and architecture– making this a perfect date night “getaway”… minus the expensive travel fees (In fact, the series is complimentary to both local and resort guests).
Movies begin at 7:30pm and guests are encouraged to arrive early to find a seat (seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis) and enjoy a European-inspired menu of cheeses, cured meats, wine, chocolate, Italian coffee, house-made gelato and more. Picnic baskets are also available for purchase.
The film schedule:
- March 27th: Roman Holiday (1953) | Starring Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck, and Eddie Albert.
- April 17th: Chocolat (2000) | Starring Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, and Alfred Molina.
- May 29th: Much Ado About Nothing (1993) | Starring Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Keanu Reeves, Denzel Washington, and Kate Beckinsale.
- June 26th: Casablanca (1942) | Starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid.
