Located at Maya Road in Queen Creek, the restaurant’s seventh installment opens at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, and the first 100 fans who visit in search of award-winning burros, pollo fundidos, crunchy tacos and other authentic Mexican eats will score a years’ worth of FREE burros (one burro per month for a year, first 100 guests only). All fans visiting throughout the day can expect a full-on fiesta with local mariachi band performances and a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Queen Creek city council members and the Vasquez family, so start Friday with a fiesta and a chance to score free burros at the same time.
Someburros Donates First Month’s Sales to Queen Creek High School
Someburros has a rich history of sinking some of its profits back into the communities that support it. As part of its recent community call campaign where it sought out nominations of deserving non-profits in Queen Creek, Someburros is excited to announce it will donate 2-percent of their first-month’s sales to the Queen Creek High School Marching Band.
“This is our way of saying thank you to the town for welcoming us with open arms,” said Someburros President Tim Vasquez. “When we open a new location, we don’t just open the doors – we make a genuine effort to get to know the surrounding community, and what it is its people and our fans value. Clearly, Queen Creek stands proudly behind its local schools, and we’re honored to be able to give back in such a big way.”
