Devour the World is set to bring cultural flavors and local flare from 6pm until 9pm on Thursday, March 21 at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
Devour the World, presented by Phoenix Magazine, Arizona Business Committee for the Arts, and Local First Arizona, is an east meets west, north, and south event that celebrates the international flavors of Phoenix. Here, guests will be able to take their taste buds on a jet-setting culinary adventure, while soaking in the exotic sights and rare plants, of a traditional Japanese garden. No passport needed!
“Launched in 2018, Devour the World is the ideal mate for the Valley’s emerging global food culture, a glorious United Nations summit of culinary styles from Lithuania to Louisiana, staged in a jewel of a venue in Downtown Phoenix,” says Craig Outhier, Editor-in-Chief of Phoenix Magazine.
“Devour the World is a celebration of the many cultures and international flavors represented in Phoenix,” says Thomas Barr, Executive Director of Local First Arizona, “Bringing both well-known and hidden gems of the culinary world together goes to show just how diverse Arizona’s food scene is, and is equally exciting for any palate to explore.”
Guests can unwind in the serene Japanese Friendship Garden as they enjoy the event and entertainment. A lineup of Devour the World restaurants include:
