Join Southern Rail for King Cake, Sazeracs and Jambalaya on Fat Tuesday

Get your beads ready and take out your wackiest purple, green and gold costumes for a Fat Tuesday celebration at Southern Rail. Chef Justin Beckett invites guests to “laissez les bons temps rouler” or let the good times roll on Fat Tuesday with a special Mardi Gras menu which will be available from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m on February 28.
Among the specials are festive slices of King Cake, a staple of Mardi Gras celebrations made of a cinnamon brioche dough shaped into a hollow circle and glazed with icing and Mardis Gras-colored sugar sprinkles. Those that just can’t wait to get their hands on Chef Beckett’s King Cake or want to bring one home to enjoy, can pre-order the dessert until February 24 for $19.
During the festivities, Southern Rail will be awarding prizes for the most outrageous and creative costumes. New Orleans signature whiskey cocktails, Monsoons and Sazeracs, will also be joining the party, and guests opting for the full New Orleans experience are invited to stay for dinner and enjoy Chef Beckett’s famous Jambalaya.
