Got plans? The 8th Annual Uncorked & Unplugged Is Set to Rock Desert Ridge Marketplace October 23

Posted on: October 21st, 2011 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

With each year, this event seems to get bigger and better. Set amongst the festive backdrop of Desert Ridge Marketplace on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 6pm-9pm, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale presents the 8th Annual Uncorked & Unplugged event.

Check out the amazing list of restaurant partners who will be offering up some of the best selections from their fall menus:
Brio, Cadillac Ranch, Cantina Laredo, The Chick, Cholla, Grimaldi’s, The Grind, Ling & Louie’s, Orange Sky, Roy’s, Rubio’s, San Felipe’s, Starbucks, Tanzy, Wally’s, Yard House, Rock Bottom Brewery, and Tommy Bahama’s.

“We have so many great culinary options that we couldn’t help but bring in the best of the best in wine and spirits as well. With the support of Alliance Beverage and Diageo Chateau & Estates Wine again this year, we know we accomplished just that,” said Allen Thompson, co-chair of Uncorked & Unplugged.

With such great restaurant offerings, you’ll surely need something to wash it all down with! This year’s event will include some new features such as a champagne tasting, scotch tasting, international wine tasting, reserve wine sampling and more. Here are just a few of the wines and spirits that will be poured: Acacia Vineyards, Belvedere, BV Coastal Estates, Cane Liquors, Ceretto Wines, Chalone Vineyards, Cherry on Top Winery, Ciroc Vodka, Crown Royal, Domaine Chandon Wines, New Harbor Wines, Qream Spirits, Rosenblum Cellars, Snap Dragon Wines, Stella Artois, Stellina di Norte Wines, Sterling Vintner’s Collection, Tanqueray, and Terrazas Wines.

And if all that food and drink weren’t enough, there will be live entertainment at all three stages – Rock Lobster, The JJ’s Band and The Nate WIlliams Band. On the Executive Club stage you can listen to the music of EastonAshe, fresh from an appearance on Simon Cowell’s X-Factor.

Hensley and Company will be partnering with AAA Cabs to offer guests a complimentary cab ride home from the event. Cabs will also be available the following morning to take guests back to their cars.

Tickets for the event start at $75, with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. There is also a $150 executive club ticket available that includes access to the main event and the exclusive executive club as well as a private post party beginning at 9pm. Tickets can be purchased online at uncorkedandunplugged.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase the night of the event. This is a 21 and older event, proper ID required.
