PhoenixBites Picks: The Arizona Restaurant Week Menus We’d Actually Book

Posted on: September 18th, 2026 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Nearly 300 restaurants are participating in Fall Arizona Restaurant Week, which sounds exciting until you realize that means nearly 300 menus to scroll through. So we did the homework and pulled together some of the best Arizona Restaurant Week menus for 2026 — at least, the ones we’d actually book ourselves.

These are the menus that made us stop, back up and start mentally checking our calendar (and bank account). They may not be the fanciest restaurants or the biggest names, but the ones that look like they’re giving diners something interesting, a genuinely good value or a very good excuse to finally make that reservation.

In other words: these are the spots we’d look at first if we were booking Restaurant Week dinners ourselves.

PhoenixBites Restaurant Week Shortlist featuring nine Fall Arizona Restaurant Week 2026 restaurant picks

Best Bang for Your Restaurant Week Buck: Starfish Scottsdale

Restaurant Week math gets significantly more interesting when the price is $44 for dinner and the menu is built around sharing. Starfish Scottsdale’s fall offering immediately caught our eye because the format gives diners a chance to try multiple dishes instead of committing to one starter, one entrée and one dessert.

Why we’d book it: $44, built for sharing, and one of the better chances on this list to try several things without committing to a traditional three-course format.

Best New-to-Restaurant-Week Pick: PINYON Coastal Mediterranean

PINYON had us at first-time participant. The $55 menu leans coastal Mediterranean, which is already more interesting to us than another predictable steak-and-potatoes lineup.

Why we’d book it: New participant, distinct point of view and a menu that feels built for people who like to order things they wouldn’t necessarily make at home.

Best “Make It a Whole Night” Pick: The Italian Daughter

Dinner plus live piano is already doing a lot of the date-night heavy lifting for us.

The Italian Daughter is offering a $44 Restaurant Week dinner, and the Scottsdale restaurant regularly features live music alongside its handmade pastas, Italian entrées and cozy dining room.

This is one of those picks where the atmosphere matters almost as much as the menu.

Why we’d book it: Because sometimes Restaurant Week should feel like an occasion, not just a discount.

Best “We Know Exactly What We’re Getting Into” Pick: The Gladly

Sometimes you want to gamble on something new. Sometimes you want The Gladly. The $55 dinner gives you a known quantity: polished food, a strong bar and a restaurant that has been doing this long enough to know its lane.

Why we’d book it: dependable date-night energy with enough polish to feel special without feeling stuffy.

Best Sushi Night: OBON Sushi Bar

Want one sushi night in the mix? OBON makes a pretty easy case for it. The Scottsdale Quarter location is doing a $44 dinner, and sushi, ramen and cocktails in one stop is enough to get our attention.

Why we’d book it: An easy way to work sushi night into the week without making the reservation feel overly precious.

Best “Let’s Go Somewhere New” Wild Card: Ghost Ranch

Ghost Ranch is also among the new Restaurant Week participants this fall, with a $55 dinner and a Modern Southwestern focus.

This is the kind of pick Restaurant Week is made for: somewhere you might not book on a random Tuesday, but absolutely would when the menu gives you a reason.

Why we’d book it: bold Southwestern flavors, a strong sense of place and a menu that feels very Arizona without being predictable.

Best Spanish Escape Without the Plane Ticket: Telefèric Barcelona

With both $35 and $55 options, Telefèric gives you some room to decide how ambitious the night needs to be.

Why we’d book it: Two price points, a lively menu and enough flexibility to decide whether this is dinner or Dinner.

Best “I Just Want a Good Dinner” Pick: Grassroots Kitchen & Tap

Not every Restaurant Week reservation needs to be a production.

Grassroots Kitchen & Tap in Scottsdale is offering a $44 dinner built around its Southern-influenced American menu and casual neighborhood feel.

Why we’d book it: This feels like the pick for the night when you want a genuinely good dinner without turning it into an event.

One More Value Play Worth Watching: Cooper’s Hawk

Cooper’s Hawk Scottsdale is offering a $25 lunch and $44 dinner, which puts it firmly in the “worth doing the math” category.

If you’re trying to stretch Restaurant Week across more than one meal, lunch can be one of the smartest ways to do it.

Why we’d book it: The $25 lunch is the real eyebrow-raiser here, especially if your Restaurant Week plans are already getting out of hand.

The Real Strategy

The best Restaurant Week menu is not necessarily the most expensive one, the fanciest one or the one everyone else is talking about.

It’s the one that makes you look at the menu and immediately know what you’re ordering.

That is the list we were trying to build here.

A shareable Asian-fusion spread. A coastal Mediterranean detour. A piano-backed Italian dinner. Maybe sushi. Definitely too many reservations.

We regret nothing.

Fall Arizona Restaurant Week runs September 18–27, and menus can still change or be added, so check out the official Arizona Restaurant Week site before booking.

Disclosure: PhoenixBites received information about Fall Arizona Restaurant Week from the Arizona Restaurant Association. This is an editorial roundup based on published Restaurant Week menus and PhoenixBites’ own selections.
