Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 7 ounces cooked turkey cubed or shredded
  • 1/2 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3 Tbsp. basil chiffonade
  • 2 pacjages Athens Mini Fillo Shells
Servings: appetizers
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and set aside.
  3. Cut each tomato in quarters lengthwise.
  4. Divide the turkey evenly between each mini shell.
  5. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of pizza/spaghetti sauce onto the turkey.
  6. Sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Top each with a tomato piece and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 6–8 minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
  9. Garnish with basil.
