5 Reasons to go to Scottsdale Spice

After a summer complete with sweltering days, the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce is holding its 2nd Annual Scottsdale Spice Culinary Event this Saturday at The Venue of Scottsdale. The Festival brings Valley chefs together to create their spiciest dishes with the hopes of winning a “Golden Ticket” to participate in the World Chef Challenge, a three-day event in Florida.

5 Reasons Why Should You Go To Scottsdale Spice:

1.  You love all things spicy! There are so many local restaurants that are participating in the event and they are bringing with them their hottest dishes (see below for a complete list).
2. Our weather is expected to be back to beautiful on Saturday. After all the gloom and grey of the last few days, the “mostly sunny” forecast seems like the perfect backdrop for a fiery feast! Plus, there’s a lot of rain expected the beginning of next week, so get out there and enjoy the sun. Soak it up, buttercup!
3. Tickets are only $45 for Scottsdale Chamber members and $55 for non-members. That entry fee gets you unlimited food samples from all the participating restaurants (while supplies last) AND 7 drink tickets that are good for wine, craft beer and available spirits.
4. The event is 21 and over only, so if you have been looking for something to do on a date night or with a group of friends, this is perfect for you.
5. You love local music. Local band, Sapphire Sky will be performing live to set the vibe and get you dancing. They play a variety of music; from top 40 hits to modern classic rock anthems and hip-hop.
