Community: Mike Peters Benefit Show at Rogue Bar

Posted on: October 22nd, 2014 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

It could happen to anyone; a life turned upside-down in a split second, the blink of an eye. An accident, a moment with your eyes off the road, one too many drinks, something as simple as a sneeze could change your life or the lives of someone else forever.Mike and Felicia Peters

On July 5th of 2014, Mike Peters and his family were involved in an auto accident on the I-17 here in the Valley. Sadly, Mike lost his life in that accident and his wife Felicia and son Mikey we injured and left without their person, their head of the house, their heart. Aside from the burden on their hearts in not having their leader around any longer, both Felicia and Mikey struggle with the physical remains of the accident, but perhaps worse than that are the emotional wounds that will remain with them, likely for a life time.

On Friday, October 24th, The Rogue Bar will be host to an all day music festival to celebrate the life of Mike. Aside from the fantastic line-up of musical acts there will be a BBQ, raffle and other giveaways throughout the day. You can submit your donation at the door or by visiting the family’s GoFundMe page.

There are a number of bands that will be playing throughout the day. The event begins at 1 pm and will run until close. If you are looking to hear some new music as well as help out a family in need, stop by and leave feeling extremely lucky.

The Rogue Bar is located at 423 N. Scottsdale Road, in Scottsdale.
