Market Street Kitchen now serving lunch at DC Ranch

There’s a new lunch spot up at DC Ranch now that Market Street Kitchen has opened for the midday meal. Offered Monday through Saturday from 11:30am-3pm, you’ll find lunch selections priced from $8-$15.

With a menu crafted by James Beard award-winning Chef Robert McGrath and Chef Matt Taylor, there are some definite standouts that catch our eye. Small plate selections ideal for sharing include Crispy Fish ‘Street’ Tacos with chipotle mayo, cilantro and pickled onions ($8) and Pretzel-Crusted Crab Cakes with escabeche and tarragon aioli ($14).

Sandwich and salad selections include the Grilled Pecorino-Truffle Cheese Sandwich with Tomato and Basil ($13… yum), the traditional Spinach Salad with warm bacon dressing, coddled egg and scallions ($10), and a Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich ($15) that speaks to my Midwest roots – it’s topped with black pepper aioli and grilled onions. Hungry?

Heavier appetites are fulfilled with substantial plate selections like the Green Chile Pork Stew with Pepper Jack and charred Serrano ($10) and Steamed Mussels with smoked ham hock and sweet butter ($14).

Head in for lunch Monday-Saturday from 11:30am-3pm, or dinner 5-10pm every day of the week. Happy Hour specials are served Monday-Saturday from 3-6pm.
