February 9: Mark Grace Bogies & Stogies Dinner at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort

Posted on: February 1st, 2012 by Amy Martin No Comments

Now that the weather is gorgeous, golfers are coming out of hiding to take advantage of our beautiful greens around the Valley. Golf enthusiasts and celebrities will come together to take part in the annual Mark Grace Celebrity Invitational at the two-day event held on February 9 and 10. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with celebrity golfers at the (very posh) cigar dinner at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, followed the tournament on Friday at the Phoenician Golf Club. The yearly fundraiser brings more than 200 golfers together with local and national sports celebs to support the youth development programs for children and teens served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

The Mark Grace Bogies & Stogies Dinner will take place on Thursday, February 9 from 6pm-10pm offering a specially prepared dinner with carving stations and paired wines, a selection of fine cigars, hosted bar with top-shelf scotches and vodkas, and a silent auction. Individual tickets for this dinner are priced at $150.

The second event of the invitational: the Golf Tournament. Held on Friday, February 10, golfers will enjoy tee gifts from the Phoenician Golf Shop, lunch, a round of golf, cocktail reception, and the awards ceremony. Registration and tee gifts begin at 10am and the afternoon golfing kicks off with a shotgun start at noon.
