It’s that time of the year again! With the first week of October now behind us it is now “Pumpkin Everything” time.
With pumpkins being 90 percent water, they make a perfect base for a cocktail. Executive Chef Admir Alibasic of Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse has created a tempting Pumpkin Cocktail. You can find the cocktail on the menu for $12.95 regularly or for $7.95 during happy hour…or you can give a go at trying to mix it up yourself with the below recipe.
Ben & Jack’s Pumpkin Cocktail
- 1 ounce maple whisky
- 2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 tsp. pumpkin spice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- Splash hazelnut liqueur
- graham cracker crumbs
- Ice
- Cinnamon stick
Directions:
- Spread a layer of graham cracker crumbs on a saucer. Press cocktail glass rim into the graham cracker crumbs.
- In a shaker tin, add ice, maple whisky, hazelnut liqueur, vanilla vodka, simple syrup and pumpkin spice. Shake vigorously. Double strain into the cocktail glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
