Herb & Garlic Compound Butter

Sam the Cooking Guy created this beautiful herb & garlic compound butter that can be paired with steak, grilled fish and even chicken. This compound butter is incredibly versatile and we use it all the time in the Bites House!

Herb & Garlic Compound Butter

Course Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp. Finlandia salted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh herbs you can use any combination of oregano, rosemary, parsley, thyme, cilantro, sage and/or chives
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl
  2. Put in the middle of a 8x8 sheet of wax paper, roll up like a cigar and twist ends in opposite directions to form a tight tube
  3. Either refrigerate for use or freeze to store longer
