The Wigwam Resort has been an Arizona presence for the last 86 years and is an iconic West Valley resort, that prides itself in celebrating Arizona’s history. As a tribute, the venue will be spotlighting both the resort and Arizona’s history with this unique dining concept.
The luxury resort will offer the “5 Cs” five-course dinner and tasting menu every weekend in February at its signature onsite restaurant, Litchfield’s. As the name suggests, diners can expect dishes and tastes designed with respect to the copper, cattle, cotton, citrus and climate that helped shape the state since the resort’s inception. It’s all part of the state’s 104th birthday celebration this year, and will give lifelong residents and newcomers alike an opportunity to get up close and personal with Arizona’s storied past.
In addition to emphasizing the key contributions of Arizona’s early settlers, the dinner and tasting menu will feature ingredients provided by local purveyors like Hickmans Farms and Cedar River Farms. Menu highlights include Prickly Pear Cotton Candy, Rock Shrimp Ceviche and Dry Aged Cedar River Ribeye, all of which can be paired alongside a glass of the restaurant’s premium wine selection.
Don’t miss this opportunity to taste Chef de Cuisine Chris Knouse’s take on Arizona’s colorful past, available weekends throughout February and once monthly thereafter. Reservations are required, so book a table today by calling 623.935.3811. The dinner will cost $55 per person, not including tax or gratuity. Litchfield’s is open from 5pm until 9pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
