Wine Wars at Cowboy Ciao

When wine-pros get together for a showdown the result can only be, well, intoxicating. On Wednesday, July 17th John Germain of Vintage 95 and Cowboy Ciaos own Peter Kasperski will be duking it out in the latest Sommelier Showdown.

Expect to indulge in 5 courses and imbibe on 10 wines for only $60 per person (not including tax and gratuity); the good times and entertainment will be free of charge.

Cowboy Ciao’s fare is an eclectic mix of cultures from around the globe. Italy, Mexico and the American Southwest meld together to create an exciting menu of modern American cuisine with Southwest accents and global influences. With a wine list featuring close to 1800 different options, you’re sure to find the perfect pairing for your meal, be it the infamous Stetson Chopped Salad, the Whack Mac n Cheese or the Cure for the Common Salmon.

Vintage 95, located in Chandler, is the perfect combination of Old World classics and New World favorites. The menu leads you to begin your dining experience with one of their four cheese/charcuterie boards and I can tell you I’m not mad about it! At last glance the wine list was a whopping 13 pages long so there is definitely no lack of options to please everyone.

Be sure to call 480-946-3111 to reserve your spot! Cowboy Ciao is located at 7133 E. Stetson Dr. Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
