New summer drinks (and recipes!) at Fox RC

This weekend, the Valley is headed for triple digits and I’m pretty sure we’re all going to need something cool to quench the thirst that comes along with 100 degrees. Fox Restaurant Concept’s Master Mixologist Mat Snapp has crafted a few new, summer drinks just in time for the heat plunge. The perfect summer sip is, as Matt says, “cold, fresh and light.”  A few of his new ‘fresh and light’ drinks include the following:

For Modern Steak, he’s crafted a Tiki cocktail: the Pau Hana – the Hawaiian phrase for the first drink after a hard day’s work- ($10) combining Flora de Cana 7 year rum and Pisa Pistachio Liqueur.

At Blanco Tacos Tequila, you can enjoy Mat’s Pineapple Daly ($9) made with Skyy Vodka, house made sweet tea simple syrup and pineapple juice and the Oaxan Shandy ($9) combining Sauza Tequila, Solerno, Cilantro and Modelo Especial.

Head to the Arrogant Butcher or Culinary Dropout for the After School Special ($10) made with raspberry-infused Blanco Tequila, Ginger Agave Nectar, freshly squeezed lime juice and Model Especial.
