14 days of recipes for Valentine’s Day: Day 1 Olive Oil and Lemon Curd Cake

No matter if you’re coupled up or single, we’re pretty sure you’ll still be hungry for some sweet treats no matter if you choose to celebrate the love-filled holiday or not. Who would pass up all that chocolate? Not us.

Today’s recipe, an Olive Oil and Lemon Curd Cake, is provided by Anna Zoitas, owner of The Artisanal Kitchen, and utilizes two products from her line.

DAY 1: Olive Oil and Lemon Curd Cake

Description: Rich and moist with fruitful hints of savory olive oil.

Ingredients: Flour, eggs, olive oil, sugar, heavy cream, lemon curd, Greek yoghurt, fresh orange juice, fresh lemon juice, butter, lemon zest, baking powder, salt.

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Melt butter, set aside. Cream sugar, eggs and butter for about 3 minutes. Add dry ingredients in sections, do not over mix. Incorporate the rest of the ingredients.

Pour batter into parchment lined and olive oiled baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
