El Chorro Continues Winemaker Dinner Series on February 21 with ZD Wines

El Chorro (Paradise Valley), will host one of American’s premier winemakers, ZD Wines, for an exclusive dinner event on February 21at 6pm to continue their Winemakers Dinner Series.

ZD Wines have adorned the tables of White House dinner parties and the label was named ‘Winery of the Year’ in 1997 by the Wines & Spirits Buying Guide. Additionally, the still family-run company has reaped over 300 awards of excellence, coming a long way from their roots when two former aerospace engineers started the winery in a small Sonoma County farmhouse in 1968. ZD Wines president and partner, Brett deLuezel, will be present at the El Chorro dinner to share tales of working with family and his years of wine-making and pairing expertise.

The evening begins with an appetizer reception, followed by a four-course menu prepared by El Chorro Executive Chef Charles Kassels.

Lobster-wrapped Sea Scallop with White Polenta and Crispy Spinach will grace the evening’s menu as well as a Niman Ranch Dry-aged Prime New York Steak with Bleu Cheese Smashed Potatoes and Roasted Marrow Bone (insert ridiculous mouth-watering hunger here). View the complete menu here.

The ZD Winemaker Dinner is limited to 50 guests, so make your reservations early. Cost to attend is $125, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Call 480-948-5170 ext. 202 to make reservations.
