Friday, June 3rd

From Memorial Day, May 31st to Labor Day, September 5th, Chef Eddie Matney is thanking valley residents for a great year by inviting you to his House for a place to cool off with a cool $11 Summer menu. Highlights on the special menu include the following: Grilled “New York” Pork Loin (glazed with an apricot voodoo sauce and served with a grilled sweet potato and brussel sprout salad), Grilled Chuck Eye Filet (on a bed of local field greens, grape tomatoes, Stagg blue cheese, onion frizzles and a white balsamic vinaigrette), Grilled Natural Chicken Breast (Served with a toasted bacon potato salad and yellow green beans), and Pan Seared New England Cod (Atop a panzanella salad with a tomato shrimp herb essence). Get ready to dance to your favorite songs when the Valley’s most popular cover bands take the stage and perform live in Cortijo Plaza at the Montelucia Resort. The concert series will occur every Friday night from May 20th to July 8th in Cortijo Plaza at 6:30pm. This Friday, Elvis Before Noon will perform. This event is complimentary.

RA Sushi will host its seventh annual “Nicky’s Week” fundraiser Sunday, May 29 through Saturday, June 4 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the nation’s top children’s cancer research center. The Scottsdale-based restaurant and bar will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of a variety of menu items and beverages to St. Jude to help support the hospital’s lifesaving mission. The special Nicky’s Week menu includes: Edamame, Tootsy Maki, Shrimp Nigiri, Pork Gyoza, Tuna Tataki, Chicken Yakitori and select beverages. All 25 RA Sushi locations in Arizona will participate in the fundraiser.
