Last Wednesday, August 25th, Smashburger opened its doors at its new location in Tempe. The store sits 815 E Baseline Road, on the corner of Rural and Baseline.
Smashburger offers a special regional menu highlighting regional tastes and flavors. The Arizona menu includes:
- Arizona Smashburger featuring a one-third or half-pound burger topped with habanero cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, onion, chipotle mayo and fresh jalapenos on a chipotle bun.
- Arizona Devil Dog topped with habanero cheese, guacamole, fresh jalapenos, spicy chipotle sauce and tomatoes all on a Hebrew National 100% beef hotdog and a lightly toasted poppy seed bun.
- The Arizona Cobb Salad featuring diced chicken breast, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onions, crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, with spicy chipotle sauce and topped with guacamole and fresh jalapenos.
- Cactus vanilla shake featuring Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream and a prickly pear syrup.
I’ll definitely be ordering an Arizona Smashburger and a Cactus Vanilla Shake when I visit!
