Recently, I was invited out to a Smashburger Media Tasting featuring some of their newly added menu items. In efforts to expand their menu, Smashburger has added new Smashsalads and Smashchicken sandwiches.

I had the pleasure of trying the BBQ Chicken Ranch Smashsalad and the Grilled Buffalo Smashchicken Sandwich (oh, and don’t forget the Smashfries!). Both were incredulously delicious and way-above-the-mark for a casual restaurant.

Smashburger Review: BBQ Chicken Ranch Smashsalad

BBQ Chicken Ranch Smashsalad

First off, the portion of the BBQ Chicken Ranch Smashsalad is huge and big enough to share! The salad was tossed adequately with ranch dressing and a generous splash of bbq sauce, and topped with tender, juicy grilled chicken. A definite re-order!

Smashburger Review: Grilled Buffalo Smashchicken Sandwich

Grilled Buffalo Smashchicken Sandwich

The Grilled Buffalo Smashchicken Sandwich was slathered with spicy buffalo sauce and topped with a pile (they’re not stingy at all!) of tangy bleu cheese. I’m a big fan of buffalo sauce and this sandwich did not disappoint. The Smashfries were to die for and a nice change from the usually boring, fast-food French fry. Smashfries are tossed with rosemary, olive oil and garlic. You won’t want to miss these.
