SOL Mexican Cocina’s Mazatlan Mule

SOL Mexican Cocina is taking a twist on their monthly Farmer’s Market Margarita and they will be offering a Mexican version of a Moscow Mule instead. Throughout the month of August, SOL Cocina will be serving up a Mexican version of the cocktail, a Mazatlan Mule. This refreshing drink is the perfect way to begin your delicious dining experience at SOL Cocina.

Can’t make it in to the restaurant? No worries! Make this tasty treat at home. Muddle ginger, add ice, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and Don Julio Blanco Tequila. Shake and strain into a glass of ice and top with your favorite ginger beer. Enjoy!

Course Cocktail
Servings 1 cocktail

Ingredients

  • 4-5 slices peeled ginger
  • .75 ounces agave nectar
  • 2.25 ounces Don Julio Blanco Tequila
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • splash ginger beer
  • ice for shaking
  • mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle 4-5 slices of peeled ginger.
  2. Add in ice, .75oz. agave nectar, 2.25oz. Don Julio Blanco Tequila and 1oz. of fresh lime juice.
  3. Shake and strain into fresh glass of ice, topping with ginger beer.
  4. Garnish with sprig of mint and lime.
