Ingredients

  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 Tbsp. apple cider
  • 1 Tbsp. rum
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 2 packages Athens Mini Fillo Shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
  2. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 1 minute.
  3. Beat in the egg and then the yolk.
  4. Stir in the apple cider, rum and vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until thoroughly combined.
  5. Spoon or pipe 1 tablespoon of filling into each shell.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes.
  7. Allow to cook slightly before serving.

Recipe Notes

For an extra fancy flourish, you can garnish with whipped topping, apple pieces and cinnamon.
