Café Lalibela helped take Ethiopian cuisine mainstream when it first landed on Whole Foods Market’s shelves back in 2014, and the specialty grocer is now expanding its offerings from the Tempe-based eatery to satisfy growing demand.

In addition to its lineup of cold and frozen vegetarian and gluten-free products and dishes, many of which feature red lentils, yellow split peas and other colorful, healthy ingredients, Cafe Lalibela will now offer highlights from the restaurant’s bold, ethnic menu at the Whole Foods Market hot bar, starting Friday, February 23. Ideal for a hearty, yet healthy midday meal or a grab-and-go dinner on the way home, Café Lalibela’s newest plates and products are now hitting Whole Foods Market hot bar across Paradise Valley, Tempe, Chandler, central Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Available options include Doro Wat (Spicy Chicken), Alicha Sega (mild beef), Fosolia (Green beans) and Misir (Red Lentils).
