Snooze Ahwatukee is Coming This Year

Snooze Ahwatukee is coming this year

Get ready to rise and shine (and smile), Ahwatukee, because Snooze, an A.M, Eatery is bringing its irresistible menu of all-day breakfast & brunch fare this once-sleepy little hideaway on the back side of South Mountain. Housed inside an all-new building now under construction at the Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center (4901 E. Ray Road, just west of the I-10 freeway), Snooze’s latest Valley location is scheduled to open in late September/early October. When complete, Ahwatukee residents will be able to savor Snooze’s famously fresh and from-scratch food, gourmet coffees and craft cocktails, all served in a fun, colorful and welcoming atmosphere.

As the fifth Valley location popular of this Denver, Colo.-based restaurant, Snooze Ahwatukee tempts with modern twists on classic breakfast fare, fresh-cracked to order and made with natural and responsibly sourced ingredients, whenever possible. Think choose-your-own flight of fluffy pancakes or house-made Breakfast Pot Pie smothered in rosemary sausage gravy. And why settle for plain old eggs benedict when you can have gourmet options such as Chilaquiles Benedict with bold barbacoa beef over a stack of ranchero sauced tortillas and melted cheese, with poached cage free eggs, roasted poblano hollandaise, pico de gallo and cotija cheese. Furthermore, Snooze was built on a commitment to sustainability, from incorporating as much responsibly grown food and materials as possible to recycling and composting up to 90% of all waste.

Most important, says Snooze CEO, David Birzon, “We believe that the Ahwatukee area and I-10 & Ray Road, in particular, is one of the top trade areas in Greater Phoenix. We are excited to bring Snooze to this area and think this is an engaging and exciting community for us to get involved in.” Which is why Snooze Ahwatukee, like every new Snooze location, will host a festive grand opening that will also double as a fundraiser for local charities, with details to be released later this year.

Seating 147 guests indoors and an additional 36 outside on the expansive dining patio, Snooze Ahwatukee will feature the restaurant’s signature bold, colorful atmosphere and retro-futuristic décor, best described as “The Jetsons” meets “Happy Days.” Here, guest can settle in at one of Snooze’s famed ’tilt-a-wheel’ circular booths, or step through the series of rollaway garage doors and unwind on the expansive, umbrella-shaded patio. And as always, Snooze will offer free coffee and games of cornhole to anyone waiting for a table.
