Football Bowl game season is here and will soon descend on our great state. The Valley will soon be crowded with Clemson, Ohio State, Boise State and Baylor fans for the Cactus and Fiesta Bowls. If you are heading to the Bowl games or are looking for a local restaurant to catch the bowl games at, make sure to check out these spots for great drink and food specials, along with a good time. This selection covers just a few of the top spots to get your game watching on! Pick a new-to-you spots, make some new friends, and cheer on your favorite teams!

Just a hop, skip and a jump from Chase Field, Roosevelt Row’s resident food hall, DeSoto Central Market is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and a thirst-quenching brew before the big game. With an eclectic variety of options to choose from including Latin-Asian fusion to classic all-American burgers, seafood, Southern-style fare and more, there is a little something for everyone at DeSoto. On Mondays, the DCM Bar has happy hour going on all-day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with $1 off pints, $2 off pitchers, a $5 pitcher of the day, $2 off wine by the glass, a $5 cocktail of the day, $1 off any fries and $10 specialty wings with an O’Dell Brewing Company beer.

Because of their local beer, grub, games and football viewing, Pedal Haus Brewery is Tempe’s go-to restaurant for the full bowl games watching experience. Happy hour is from 11am until 6:30pm Monday through Saturday and includes food and beer specials. Specials include $2 off Pedal Haus beers and $5 glasses of wine. Come and check out the recently remodeled brewpub before or after the big game!

Social Tap Eatery | Scottsdale

No matter if you are going to the game, or staying away from the chaos, Social Tap Eatery will be the place for pre, during and post-game activities. You’ll be able to enjoy $4 Social Tap Beers, and $3 select shots and discounts on select menu items.
Are you a Clemson fan and want to get a free bottle of champagne on NYE? All you need to do is book a party of 4 or more and you will receive a free bottle. (*Reservations are required.)
The restaurant has two, 90 inch TV’s and 27, 65 inch TV’s which means there isn’t a bad seat in the restaurant.
Social Tap Eatery is open from 11am through 2am Monday-Friday and 9am until 2am on Saturday and Sunday.

The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen is owned by NFL legend and one of the “50 greatest Vikings” of all time, Jared Allen. Located in Downtown Tempe, the restaurant and sports bar will host football watch parties on the outdoor patio for the Cactus Bowl on December 27th and the Fiesta Bowl on December 31st.
Cactus Bowl specials: Boise State and Baylor fans will have access to happy hour pricing from 3pm until 6pm. Happy Hour cocktails include $3 Lodge pints and $7 Effen Mules.
Fiesta Bowl specials: Brunch will be served until 2pm on Saturday, December 31st for Clemson fans and will include $20 beer buckets and $4 Fireball shots.
The Lodge’s large patio is complete with a fireplace and 30 televisions for a comprehensive sports viewing experience. Added entertainment includes interactive games such as Golden Tee, Big Buck Hunter, Jumbo Jenga, Corn Hole and Rolle Bolle.
The Lodge is open from 11am until 2am for Cactus Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.

Tom’s Tavern | Downtown Phoenix

Only a short walk from Chase Field, Tom’s Tavern has recently started serving dinner. With an extensive wine and handcrafted cocktail menu, Tom’s Tavern is the place for a sophisticated lunch or dinner around the Cactus Bowl on December 27th. The restaurant is one of Phoenix’s most historic spots. Unique menu items include Slow Cooked Pork Belly and Veal Meatloaf. Classic Tom’s cocktails include Tom’s Rum Punch and an Old Fashion with Woodford Reserve.
Tom’s Tavern is open for lunch Monday through Friday 10:30am to 4pm and for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5 to 9 p.m.
