Boozy Milkshakes: 4 Valley Favorites

While other folks across the country are breaking out their sweaters, scarves, and boots we still seem to hang on to 100 plus degree weather. What goes better with the lingering heat than a milkshake? A boozy milkshake, of course! Beat that residual heat of summer that is still hanging around here in Arizona with these magnificent boozy milkshakes!

Variety is the spice of life, or so I have heard, and if that’s what you’re looking for HiFi has 11(!) boozy milkshakes for you to choose from. You read that right, 11!! My personal favorites are the Drunken Monkey (banana rum, hazelnut, bananas, chocolate syrup and whipped cream) and the S’Mores (marshmallow vodka, graham cracker crumble, chocolate syrup and toasted marshmallows). Go check them out and find your favorite flavor.

A prominent fixture in the dining room of Proof is their soda fountain counter. In just one glance it conjures up memories of visiting the local restaurant in my teeny tiny hometown as a kid and feeling so grown up when I ordered a root beer float. Now I can truly do it up as an adult here at Proof and get a decadent boozy milkshake. You can belly up to the bar (or order at your table) and get a Devil’s Food, Mint Condition, Cereal or “C” is for Cookie spiked milkshake. My favorite at Proof, though not technically a milkshake, has to be the Spiked Root Beer Float.

The boozy milkshakes at Relish could likely be the most glamorous and indulgent ones on our list. You can get either vanilla or chocolate but it’s the combination of ingredients here that certainly ups that fancy factor. The Adult Vanilla Shake is made up of Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka and French Vanilla Kahlua while the Adult Chocolate Shake consists of Van Gogh Chocolate Vodka and Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. So decadent, creamy and indulgent.

The Tia Maria Milkshake thing of beauty comprises a delicious blend that features cream de cacao, Tia Maria and ice cream and is guaranteed to satisfy your love of coffee and spirits and tame that sweet tooth!
