While some of our neighboring states may have broken out their winter coats and are beginning to get used to shoveling their driveways, we have embarked on the perfect time of year here in Scottsdale. It’s finally time to opt for a seat on the patio and soak in all of the amazing views. If you’re looking for the perfect patio spot, we have nine of our favorites that are just waiting for you.
9 Perfect Patio Spots in Scottsdale
Alto Ristorante e Bar
7500 E. Doubletree Ranch Road| Scottsdale| 480.444.1234
There’s no denying a trip to Alto will result in a lovely dinner inside the restaurant with the eclectic Italian menu, attentive service, and an impressive wine list but a seat on the patio will take your romantic dinner to the next level. Settle in at a table nestled by terrace fire pits, lit palm trees and gorgeous views while you enjoy some of Italy’s best artisanal cheeses, meats, and Italian wines. Once your appetite has been fully satiated take a complimentary gondola ride along the resort’s waterways and you may even be treated to a song by your gondolier.
Blanco Tacos & Tequila
6166 N. Scottsdale Road| Scottsdale| 480.305.6692
Fate Brewing Company
7337 E. Shea Blvd.| Scottsdale| 480.994.1275
The House Brasserie
6936 E. Main St.| Scottsdale| 480.634.1600
Tucked into a sweet, quiet corner of Old Town Scottsdale, The House Brasserie evokes the feeling of nostalgia, something akin to eating at your classy grandmother’s house for some casual but celebratory event. The food is of the highest quality and on the cutting edge of current trends and tried and true favorites. The patio is surrounded by charming brick, striped garden gazebos, an inviting weathered fireplace and topped off with a white picket fence. The scaled backlighting will offer up a side of romance to enchant any dinner.
Metropolis at Optima Camelview
7137 E. Rancho Vista Drive| Scottsdale| 480.621.6339
Old Town Tortilla Factory
6910 E. Main St.| Scottsdale| 480.945.4567
Located off of the main street in a quaint neighborhood of condominiums, if you weren’t looking for Old Town Tortilla Factory you may not ever know it even existed. The restaurant was built from a 75 plus year old adobe home which is surely where part of its charm comes from. The fare is based on Southwestern staples but with a Mexican twist. The patio is an impressive 1400 square feet and is shaded by 100-year-old pecan trees and lots of vegetation which helps to make it feel like spring in the winter. This perfect patio also features a gazebo bar that boasts over 120 premium tequilas and an array of beers, wine, and liquor. The space is versatile enough to be perfect for a date night or a celebration with a large group.
Olive & Ivy
7135 E. Camelback Road| Scottsdale| 480.751.2200
Renegade by MOD
9843 E. Shea Blvd.| Scottsdale| 480.614.9400
Petite Maison
7216 E. Shoeman Ln.| Scottsdale| 480.991.6887
True to its name, Petite Maison is indeed a very small space, but what it lacks for in size it makes up for in charm and decadence. Chef James Porter changes up the menu seasonally and even offers up late night “staff meals”, that features smaller and limited options. The inside dining space can hold up to 33 patrons and the outside patio can host 40. This is the perfect patio for a romantic dinner and I have to assume that it has been home to many proposals. The alluring menu options, moonlight, and cozy tables add a certain, je ne sais quoi, for certain.
