Start your holiday weekend off on Saturday morning with Breakfast with Bunny at the Hole-in-the-Wall restaurant. During Breakfast with Bunny, your kids will be invited to decorate cookies and create sand jars as well as take complimentary photos with the Easter Bunny. You can also enjoy any of the items from the complete breakfast menu as well as the breakfast buffet.
From noon-2 pm on Saturday, the Coyote Camp playground will host good old-fashioned egg decorating for children of all ages. Hole-in-the-Wall restaurant is providing three hard-boiled eggs per person for free. Cowboy hats will also be available to decorate into Easter hats for $5.00.
Taking a break from the Easter theme, Desert Dixie Band will perform poolside at the River Ranch from 2pm-5pm, leading into the Hoedown at Slim Picken’s, which goes until 8pm. The Hoedown will feature country music, dancing and a Western-themed buffet. Guests can also try their hand at panning for gold, lasso lessons and other root-tootin’ cowboy games.
On Sunday morning from 6am-8am, the Easter Bunny will make some special deliveries at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Hotel guests can schedule in advance a visit from the Easter Bunny with a basket full of treats to their suites by visiting the meeting room in South Pointe. The prices vary by basket size or pre-made baskets can be dropped off and scheduled for delivery for a $20 fee.
After filling up on Easter treats, children are invited to bring a basket and start hunting for eggs at the River Ranch. Children four years old and under begin the hunt at 9am at Coyote Camp, while five to eight-year-olds start the hunt at Tombstone at 9:30am. At the Coyote Camp, nine to twelve-year-olds will hunt Easter eggs starting at 10am. In that same area, just in front of River Ranch, Carter’s Petting Zoo is setting up a picket fence corral filled with goats, sheep, chickens, bunnies, pigs and more animals from 10am-1pm.
All this Easter excitement is sure to work up an appetite, so Hole-in-the-Wall is serving an Easter Brunch Buffet from 10am-3pm. Featuring breakfast and lunch favorites, including French toast, omelets made to order, smoked BBQ chicken, seafood paella, and a carving station, the Easter Brunch will be priced at $45 for adults, $35 for seniors and $15 for children age 10 and under.
