Customer Appreciation Day at Chompie’s

As a former ASU student, I spent many late mornings in Chompie’s on University and have a deep and true love for their Jewish Sliders. If you love them like me, make sure you schedule some time to visit your nearest Chompie’s location on Wednesday, July 20th, from 11am until 8pm so you can help the restaurant celebrate their Annual Customer Appreciation Day.

Guests who visit between these hours on Wednesday can enjoy half price ala carte Jewish Sliders. You’ll have the option of purchasing between one and four of the treasured sliders at half price (they are normally $4.99 each). These award-winning sliders are comprised of moist lean brisket, mini potato pancakes, topped with jack cheese all on a homemade challah roll along with a side of their signature brown gravy.

“We want to say thank you to our customers because we know we wouldn’t be there without them. It is because of their loyal business that we get to do what we love,” says Lovey Borenstein. She and her husband, Lou, founded Chompie’s in 1979 as a tribute to their hometown of Queens, New York.

Chompie’s Challenge

Chompie’s, and its Jewish Sliders were made famous on the Travel Channel’s Man V. Food program in 2010 when host Adam Richman attempted Chompie’s Ultimate Slider Challenge. To win the challenge you have to finish a dozen Jewish Sliders and onion strings in 30 minutes or less.

While Richman was unsuccessful, since that episode aired many Arizona residents and travelers have come in and conquered the challenge. If you’re up to being tested, you’ll receive an Ultimate Slider Challenge T-shirt, serious victor bragging rights, and your photo on the Chompie’s “Wall of Fame” and the meal free!

For Chompie’s Customer Appreciation Day, the Jewish Slider offer is valid for dine-in only, no takeout or to-go boxes.  It’s not valid with promotional gift cards, or with any other offers, discounts or coupons.

Chompie’s, Arizona’s New York Deli, has served the Valley since 1979 with mouthwatering all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. There are currently five Chompie’s in Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Chandler, and Glendale. For more information, visit Chompie’s online at chompies.com.
