Flagstaff’s new restaurant Shift Kitchen and Bar is introducing family style meals, or Shift Meals. These meals will be held at 6pm on Monday, June 13, 2016 and will create unforgettable group dining experiences.
These dinners will have a strong emphasis on community and excellent food shared among like-minded diners. Restaurant guests and parties of all sizes can enjoy an appetizer, main dish, side dish and dessert for only $25 per person. The family style meals will feature a revolving menu that will feature locally sourced and seasonal ingredients found on their regular dinner menu. The main difference with the Shift Meals is that it gives guests an opportunity to dine alongside Shift Co-Owners Dara and Joe Rogers. Introducing friends, family members, visitors, and fellow residents to this power-house couple.
“It’s all about bringing the community together for an intimate, food-based experience,” said Dara Roger, of Shift Meals’ communal atmosphere. “Whether you come down with family or friends or stop in solo, you can pull up a chair, enjoy some great local flavors and chat with someone.”
We love the idea of family style meals that bring together strangers and friends, not to mention the people behind this great restaurant. As someone who has never met a stranger, I can personally attest to how great it is to engage with others in a restaurant setting. You’re both there because you are hungry and you obviously both have great taste, based on your restaurant selection. You never know the story the person across from you holds. All it takes is one question to get that conversation moving. At the least, you will have passed the time interestingly and you just might walk away with a new friend.

Sunday| Open from 9am until 2pm
Monday| Only open for Shift Meal at 6pm by reservation
Tuesday| Closed
Wednesday -Saturday| Open at 5pm for Dinner service
