“The app is the next evolution for AZCW getting all the information of our event to participants in an effective way that’s fun to use,” said Damon Scott, co-founder of Arizona Cocktail Week.
The all new AZCW app is just a taste of all the cocktail fun on-tap for the 2016 AZCW, highlighted by the Cocktail Carnival at the Hotel Valley Ho, and the return of the Southwest’s premier bartending competition, the Last Slinger Standing Event, as Arizona’s best bartenders measure their pours against the best from other national United States Bartender’s Guild (USBG) Chapters. AZ’s most spirited week will also feature both nationally renowned and locally grown mixologists leading interactive tastings and educational seminars, and an expanded Artisanal Spirit & Cocktail Market, now featuring a “New Times Cocktailgating Festival.” Finally, to ensure that everyone gets home safely, the 2016 Arizona Cocktail Week will also be offering special discounts to all attendees with Uber, the smartphone-based on demand car request.
