With spring in full swing and gorgeous weather taking over the Valley, there’s no better time of the year in Arizona to enjoy a meal out on the patio than right now. Spring in Phoenix is, weather-wise, my favorite time of the year. My family and I tend to grill a lot during these cool, but sunny months which results in lighter, but still flavorful dinners.
Toss some romaine on the grill for a slightly-charred salad with bright red and yellow blistered peppers and a lean protein like chicken or fish, and nothing makes me happier than grill marks decorating a colorful plate of food on a spring evening.

I found that all of the oversized tools were very sturdy and easy to use. I love that each piece has its own place in the case—which really helps in keeping everything clean and organized. There’s even a bit of extra space in the case to tuck in some dry rubs or seasonings if you’re taking your kit on-the-go.
The 4 in 1 spatula has gotten a ton of use on my grill. On one end, you have a bottle opener (because who grills without a frosty, bottled beverage in hand?) and on the spatula end, you have a serrated edge for cutting and a toothed edge for tenderizing thick cuts of meat.
All of the tools must be washed by hand, though I found they were super easy to clean and I never had to put any ‘elbow grease’ into my scrubbing. All in all, this is a great tool set for beginner grillers who might not have acquired quite as an extensive collection as this. And it would make a great gift, too!
