Giveaway: Enter to win an OptiGrill from T-Fal

Posted on: August 26th, 2014 by Taryn Jeffries 2 Comments

We are very excited to announce a giveaway with T-Fal, makers of a variety of kitchen products and appliances that make cooking a little easier (and more fun!). The latest, and my favorite, T-Fal product is their OptiGrill and one of our readers will win their very own! We recently had the opportunity to test the OptiGrill, and I honestly can’t imagine what I would do without it.T-Fal OptiGrill

The OptiGrill is touted as a revolution in grilling and I have to say that I can’t agree more. I can follow directions when it comes to recipes like nobody’s business, but when it comes to grilling, I am really lost! I won’t even touch our grill or smoker for the simple fact that it’s such a precise form of cooking and I have no idea how to tell if something is done. I either end up with something that is still moving, or that is tough and overly chewy. The OptiGrill really takes all of that guesswork out of the equation.

This product has an integrated thickness sensor that determines how long any particular item needs to be cooked. There are 6 automatic cooking programs, so you can easily determine the cooking procedure. There is an option for burgers, poultry, sandwiches, pork/sausages, steaks or fish/seafood. There is also a manual cooking setting, and a frozen selection. You read that right; frozen! You can cook food straight from the freezer! Once you make the protein selection that you are looking to cook, the OptiGrill will take you through the entire process and alert you to the specific stages with a series of beeps as well as colors. The beeps and colors will also help you choose the level of doneness for appropriate proteins. There were certain times that we used the OptiGrill to make burgers and my husband and I wanted ours a medium doneness while we wanted to ensure that our boys’ burgers were well done. The unit made it really easy to start all the burgers together and make sure everyone got what they wanted.T-Fal OptiGrill in action

Clean up is crazy easy as well. The grill plates pop off with the touch of a button and clean up incredibly easy. There is also a drip pan as the grill plates are at a slight slant to ensure that all excess liquids drain into the pan with ease. It also looks lovely on the counter, with its stainless steel exterior.

I know that all of this sounds too good to be true, but I tried it and tried it and tried it again. I really do love the OptiGrill and have been using it on a weekly basis, every chance that I get and will continue to do so! Make sure you sign up for this give-away, so you can get your own!

You can find more information about the T-Fal OptiGrill on their website. You can purchase the OptiGrill on the T-Fal website as well as several retailer like WalMart and Macy’s.
