- Alice Cooperstown | Free Meal for Veterans | Nov. 11
Alice Cooperstown Restaurant is thanking United States veterans on November 11 with a free meal and celebration. In honor of Veterans Day, the first 500 veterans at Cooperstown from 3 pm to 7pm will be treated to a traditional American BBQ meal including a smoked pulled pork, chicken or beef sandwich with coleslaw, baked beans, dessert and soft drinks. After serving the first 500 veterans, Cooperstown is offering $5 BBQ sandwich meals to all. There will also be a live raffle and all proceeds will benefit Jared Allen’s Homes 4 Wounded Warriors foundation.

BLT Steak at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is offering a special menu for Veterans Day, 11/11/11. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit Camp Patriot, a non-profit organization created to give disabled US military veterans the opportunity to experience outdoor adventures. Chef Marc Hennessy has developed a seasonal menu that includes the following: Santa Barbara Mussels (w/ Lemon Grass | Chile | Coconut Curry Froth | $15), Maine Lobster Chowder (w/ Ranch Oyster Crackers | $14), Dry Aged Smoked Pepper Crusted Prime Rib (w/ Sage Mushroom Bread Pudding | Rosemary Jus | $38), Pan Roasted Dover (w/ Sole | Littleneck Clams Fricasse | Grilled Baguette Croutons | $34), Caramelized Delicata Squash (w/ Butternut Squash Puree | Maple Walnut Butter | $10), Acorn Squash Raviolis (w/ Smoked Iberico Pork Shoulder | Fin Herbs Brown Butter Cream | $12), Baked Granny Smith Apple (w/ Bourbon Carmel | Butter Pecan Ice Cream | $9), and IBC Root Beer Float (w/ Brown Butter Ice Cream | Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Holes | $9).
- Dutch Bros. | Free 16oz. drinks for everyone | Nov. 11
Not Veteran’s Day specific, though still a fun 11/11/11 deal, Dutch Bros. is celebrating the opening of their 8th Arizona location at 6461 S. Rural Road in Tempe with free 16oz. drinks all day on Friday, November 11. Hours are 5:30am-10pm. One per a customer, no purchase required. The other 7 locations will have $1 off all medium and large Dutch Classics, Freezes and Smoothies all day for customers as well to welcome the new location into the Dutch Bros. family.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant in Scottsdale is paying tribute to our Veterans through a special Veterans Day event. Veterans will receive a complimentary entrée from a special menu on Sunday, November 13. Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Veterans must present proper identification. Examples include: VA Card, VFW Card, American Legion Card, Discharge Papers, DD214 or other Veterans ID.
- NYPD Pizza | 2 free slices for military personnel | Nov. 11
In honor of Veterans Day, NYPD Pizza is offering all retired or active military personnel two free slices or a slice with a small House or Caesar salad, plus soft drink on Friday, November 11 from 11am-4pm at all NYPD Pizza locations. Proof of military ID or uniform is necessary to redeem this offer. Limit one offer per person, dine-in only.
