Crown Imports Brings Victoria Beer to Phoenix

Last week, Mexico’s oldest beer – Victoria Beer– arrived in Phoenix just in time for Arizona Beer Week (February 19-26).

Crown Imports, a U.S. importer of international beer brands (Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo and Pacifico) announced the expansion of this popular Mexican beer at select on- and off-premise retail accounts to satisfy the demand of both Hispanic and General Market beer fans. Phoenix is only one of a handful of U.S. cities selected to receive Victoria.
Produced since 1865 in Mexico, Victoria is known as its “best-kept secret” and is the country’s oldest and most traditional beer brand. It is a Vienna-style lager beer that combines a rich amber color with a perfectly balanced taste and a smooth, crisp finish.  Until its launch in Chicago earlier this year, Victoria was only available in Mexico.

Victoria, which translates to “victory” in English, is attainable in 6-pack, 12-pack and 24-pack 12-oz. bottles.  The beer will be available at Hispanic retail markets in Phoenix including El Super, Food City, Phoenix Ranch Market and Carniceria El Bronco. Victoria will also be available at America’s Tacos, Bobby Q’s, Los Dos Molinos and Tacos y Mariscos El Kora.
