Gala or Fuji apples
peeled, cored and cut into chunks

walnut halves
lightly toasted and cooled

sweet red wine like Manischewitz Extra Heavy Malaga
(or grape juice as a substitute)

ground cinnamon

Tbsp.
packed brown sugar
Instructions
Give walnuts a quick pulse in a food processor
Add apples and reminaing ingredients and process until just blended and spreadable, but not too mushy
Store covered at room temperature until ready to serve. Can refrigerate if you prefer chilled
