Ingredients
  • 3medium Gala or Fuji applespeeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 1.5cups walnut halveslightly toasted and cooled
  • .5cups sweet red wine like Manischewitz Extra Heavy Malaga(or grape juice as a substitute)
  • 1.5tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1Tbsp. packed brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Give walnuts a quick pulse in a food processor
  2. Add apples and reminaing ingredients and process until just blended and spreadable, but not too mushy
  3. Store covered at room temperature until ready to serve. Can refrigerate if you prefer chilled
