End the Year on a Bubbly Note: Moet Wine Dinner at LON’s

Chef Jeremy Pacheco of LON’s at the Hermosa knows how to end the year right! He’s planned a special evening of food and bubbly on December 29th to say farewell to 2011 and welcome 2012: the Moet Wine Dinner.

The special event will feature three courses and a wine reception. Guests will have the opportunity to sample Moët French champagnes side by side with Chandon’s Étoile California sparklings.

The reception will begin at 6:30pm in the Inn’s underground Wine Cellar where Chef will dish out caviar, oysters and champagne. The three-course menu will follow in the restaurant’s historic (and quiet beautiful) Boardroom. A rep from Moët will be on-hand to discuss the champagne tastings and pairings.

Second Course: Roasted veal loin and charred | Spanish toro | Black truffle sunchoke puree | Tempura salsify | Paired with: Chandon Brut, California | Moët Brut, france

Third Course: Crow’s dairy goat milk crème caramel | Pomegranate honey candied crimson gold apple | Paired with: Moët Imperial Nectar, France
