Friday, February 4th

If you haven’t made a date to attend the Glendale Chocolate Affaire for a delicious assault on the senses, mark your calendar today for Feb. 4-6, as downtown Glendale becomes a chocoholic’s paradise! Not only will there be thirty chocolate purveyors, including local, regional and national chocolatiers, but this award-winning event includes wine-tasting, horse-drawn carriage rides, and romance novelists workshops and meet-and-greets with a authors, plus fabulous entertainment. Saturday, February 5th

Renegade Canteen, it’s not just for dinner anymore. Guests can now dine on the most important meal of the day with Renegade’s Brunch Menu. Serving up breakfast staples, creatively “odd things” and items officially certified as “hangover cuisine”, the Brunch Menu is a menagerie of expertly crafted western favorites. To jumpstart the day, Renegade Canteen will be providing live entertainment all morning long starting at 11 am. If you can’t make it out on Saturday, come in for Sunday brunch! Sunday, February 6th

Head to Ahwatukee on Sunday to enjoy brunch at Pomegranate Café. On the menu: Blueberry French Toast (with sugared pepitas & coconut whipped cream $8.50), Raw Strawberry Banana Crepes (with vanilla cashew cream & raw chocolate sauce $8.50), Ana’s Rancheros (chorizo, scrambled tofu, black beans, chipotle sour cream, blue corn tortillas, & ranchera sauce $12) and a Pink Sparkler (fresh orange juice, pomegranate juice & sparkling water $3.50). Not only is there T. Cook’s famous brunch, but now there’s an art-fest showcasing a local artist in the Mansion Courtyard. Past artists have included painter, Harold Schulman; Native American artist, Elaine Manning Crook; and photographer, Tom Dorr.  The Mediterranean Market Buffet Sunday Brunch is $33 per person, or an a la carte menu of breakfast and lunch selections is available.
