“Worst Cooks in America” Cast Member Kelsey Milos Shares an Interview

Kelsey Milos, a cast member of Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America” recently answered a few questions for us about her passion to learn to cook and her favorite meals.

Kelsey, 23, a hairdresser from Illinois, may be talented with scissors and a blow dryer, but is a hazard to herself and others when cooking. She has not only poisoned her husband with raw meat, but she also blew up a gas grill. For her husband’s sanity and her own safety, Kelsey needs to learn how to cook.

PhoenixBites: Of all your favorite meals, what one dish would you like to learn to master?

Kelsey Milos: My husband is an avid deer hunter and I would love to be able to make a delicious venison meal!

PhoenixBites: Is there a person (chef, home cook, family member, etc.) that has inspired you to sharpen your culinary abilities?

Kelsey Milos: I work in a hair salon and all of the girls I work with are GREAT cooks! They are always talking about the delicious stuff they create in the kitchen. I would love to be able to join in the conversation, and brag about things I can cook!

PhoenixBites: Any advice you can give to our readers who may be beginners in the kitchen?

Kelsey Milos: I would tell beginning cooks to never quit! No matter how many disasters you have had, you can still improve!! Trust me; I have given my husband food poisoning twice and now he never gets sick and the meals actually taste good!
